Saturday, May 30th – Assemble “Sunshine bags” for sick children in the hospital.

A “sunshine bag” is a small, cheerful care package put together to lift the spirits of sick children in the hospital. Bags are filled with fun, creative activities, comfort, entertainment and encouragement. The idea is to bring a little “sunshine” into what can be a scary, lonely, or boring time.

Time: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Location: St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, Spirituality Center

Friday, June 12th – United Food Bank - Neighbor's Pantry

Join us for a meaningful day of service at the United Food Bank’s Neighbor’s Pantry! Participants will play an important role in supporting families in our community by helping distribute fresh, nutritious food at no cost.

Participants will assist guests as they pick up fresh produce, delicious bakery items, and other grocery essentials. They will also help greet families with kindness, guide them through the distribution process, and load food items into their cars.

This hands-on service opportunity is a great way to live out compassion in action, build community, and make a real difference in the lives of neighbors in need.

Time: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Location: Off-site, Mesa (Approximately 4 miles from St. Timothy’s Catholic Church)

Limited spots; advance signup required. Deadline to signup, June 5th

Parent/guardian chaperone IS required.

Tuesday, July 7th – Serve meals to families in need

SVdP’s Family Dining Room is a thriving place where families experiencing financial and food insecurity can come for a hot, nutritious meal and a supportive community. Participants will serve guests in a restaurant-style setting, treated with love, dignity, and compassion. While hardworking parents sit down to a meal at the end of a long day, children get help with homework and reading while taking part in STEAM and other fun activities at the Dream Center.

Time: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Location: Off-site, Phoenix (Approximately 16 miles from St. Timothy’s Catholic Church)

Limited spots: advance signup required. Deadline to signup, June 30th

Parent/guardian chaperones are welcomed.
